South Australian Exploration Release Area – additional information
Under the Mining Act 1971 (1 January 2021 version) an expired, fully surrendered or cancelled mineral exploration licence area becomes relinquished ground and will be released to industry as an 'Exploration Release Area (ERA)'.
To assist industry in evaluating ERAs the Department for Energy and Mining has compiled an initial compilation of publications, datasets and information about the release area.
Please note that each record will include the ERA number and where datasets have been extracted from SA Geodata will include the date of extract, you can access more recent data via SARIG portal.
