Individual Applications for the 2024 Youth Parliament program are now open!

Please visit applications for individual participants for more information and to submit your application.

In 2024 the program will see 120 participants (in 20 teams of six young people) and Taskforce coming together on the two residential camps in May and June/July to take part in experiential sessions which promoted learning, leadership, and community building.

While teams will begin meeting with their training mentors in February, the residential camps will be held over the following dates:

  • 24 May - 26 May 2024: Participant Training Weekend held at Lake Dewar Lodge campsite;
  • 30 June - 5 July 2024: Week of Youth Parliament held at Lake Dewar Lodge campsite and Parliament House of Victoria.

Sitting days at Parliament House will be:

  • Monday 1 July (opening ceremony at 10:00am)
  • Tuesday 2 July
  • Thursday 4 July (closing ceremony at 4:00pm)

Please view the Team Application pack for further information on the program, key dates, cost, how to apply and more.
