On September 17, Vice Minister of Education Tian Xuejun announced via video conference the launch of the National Recruitment Platform for Returning Graduates. Tian said returning graduates were an important component of the country’s human resources. He noted that the newly launched platform would further facilitate information and resource sharing among government authorities, employers, and returning graduates and would deliver more efficient and responsive service to the parties involved.

Representatives from Tsinghua University, Peking University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Three Gorges Corporation, China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., the Bank of China, Jinan Municipal Government, and the Beijing Municipal Human Resource Bureau also attended the launch.
