The Ditch
The Ditch - Chris and Savannah

Elevating League and connecting with young and diverse audiences in New Zealand

The Ditch is a brand new show co-hosted by super league fan and former Crowd Goes Wild reporter Chris Key, and Pacific Community Sport journalist and ex Ōtāhuhu Leopards player Savannah Tafau-Levy, aiming to connect authentically with younger and more diverse audiences in NZ, particularly our Māori and Pasifika community.

Jonny Errington, Chief Content and Commercial Officer says,  “From our data, we can see that for our Māori and Pasifika audiences, the League portion of their Sky viewing is double that of NZ European/Pākeha. Yet reaching that audience would need something different to what we were currently doing.”

‘The Ditch’ is on Sky Sport 1 (Wed, 8pm) and Prime (Fri, 7pm) and runs for 12 weeks.
