Grassroots Cricket Fund

What is the Grassroots Cricket Fund?

The Grassroots Cricket Fund (GCF) was established in 2019 by Australia’s professional cricketers to strengthen grassroots cricket for generations to come. The GCF ensures the cricket clubs and indoor centres throughout Australia gets the investment it needs to support those who help drive grassroots cricket and bring communities together.

The GCF is a partnership of the Australian Cricketers’ Association and Cricket Australia, working to together to help drive this vital program and grow grassroots cricket.

We are excited to introduce the Community Grants Program for the 2023/24 season, which aims to empower clubs and centres like yours to excel in promoting cricket within your local communities.

GCF GRANTS PROGRAM

The GCF Grant Program’s focus is on enabling sustainable impact and fostering participation growth in the junior space. Consequently, grants will now be targeted towards implementing programs that maximize this impact.

From Monday, 18 September (12PM AEST), the 2023/24 GCF funding program will open for six weeks to support clubs and indoor cricket centres to prepare for the upcoming season and to help make them even better places to play the game.
