<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">Hi Team, <br>South Australia is now 100% Ipv6 Single-Stack for telstra.wap devices on Telstra Mobiles.<br>The scope of this change will impact devices that are using the latest version of the operating system, either out of the box or through an OS update.<br>It will also impact Android devices which are configured for Telstra.wap and manually configured for dual-stack.<br><br></div><div>Thank you to the AusNOG community for the feedback and valuable testing so far.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br>We now have a timeframe for the rollout to the rest of the county which will move Telstra.wap to Ipv6 only.<br><br>SA - <br>Prepaid completed on 19th Feb<br>Post-paid completed on 25th of Feb and completed 2/3rd of March.<br>Telstra will then do network monitoring and undertake customer feedback.<br><br>WA - Post-paid planned for night of 10/11th of March<br>QLD - Post-paid planned for night of 12/13th of March<br>VIC - Post-paid planned for night of 17/18th of March<br>NSW+ACT - Post-paid planned for night of 19/20th of March<br> <br>Remaining Pre-paid states (NSW,QLD,WA,VIC) planned for night of 24/25th March <br> 5G nodes not planned yet.<br><br>While we are making every effort to stick to these dates, they may be subject to change.<br><br>If any problems or inquires, Please reach out to our - If your website/content/other is advertising a AAAA Ipv6 DNS record, <br> => This may cause problems if your website is not 100% Ipv6<br> - Impact to apps is expected to be limited as all apps submitted to Apple store have been DNS64/NAT64 mandated since June 1 2016.<br> <br> * Basic flow *<br> - If Alice is connecting to a website with a Ipv6 AAAA DNS record, It will be a pure Ipv6 connection.<br> - If Alice is connecting to a website with only a A DNS record, our DNS will spoof the website address with a Well Known Prefix (WKP) so it routes to the NAT64 gateway to Ipv4 internet.<br> -
