Western Bulldogs young guns Eleanor Brown and Isabelle Pritchard have been named in the AFLW 22under22 squad of 40 players.

It is a second consecutive nomination for Brown, who also featured in the final team last year, and a debut inclusion for Pritchard.

Both have been recognised in the squad as defenders.

Brown, 22, played all 10 games in 2022, averaging 13.2 disposals, 3.3 marks and 1.7 intercepts.

Rolling through more of a midfield role this season, Pritchard, 20, also featured on every occasion, averaging 10.7 disposals and 3.5 tackles in her second year on the senior list.

The 22under22 is a fan-voted concept that recognises the best 22 players aged 22 and under – who have played five or more games - during the AFLW season.

Voting opens today (March 15) and will close on March 22, with the fan whose team is best-matched to the final team to win a prize.

The final team will be announced on the AFLPA’s digital channels on Tuesday 29 March, ahead of the AFLW MVP Awards.
