We welcome patrons of all abilities, and support a great night out for all, by providing:
- accessible parking on McDowell St
- accessible drop-off on Ester St
- on-site accessible toilets
- sealed paths around the oval
(however the stage and activities take place on grass)
- wheelchair/scooter charging station at info tent
- large screens to offer better activity viewing
- The Phonic Ear system and noise-cancelling headphones
(available to borrow from our info tent)
- high visibility, on-site event and emergency staff.
The festival is fully supervised and promotes a culture of safety and inclusion.
Auslan
Auslan Stage Left is the principal provider of Auslan interpreting for our events, and provides qualified interpreters who have been specifically trained for the genre.
Auslan is the language of the Australian deaf community. This rich, vibrant community is diverse with its members having a wide range of interests, including Christmas carols!
