CREATING A WORLD OF ACCESSIBLE MEDICATION LABELING

EVATech partners with pharmacies in the U.K., Australia, New Zealand and additional countries to bring accessible prescription labels to patients who are blind, visually impaired, print impaired or speak English as a Second Language. If patients have a challenge reading standard medication labels — the dangers of illness, hospitalization and death are real. We work in concert with pharmacies and local government architecture to increase medication safety and adherence by offering ScripTalk talking prescription labels, Dual Language Labels and

other labeling options, to those who need them most.

What is ScripTalk?

Globally, at least 2.2 billion people have vision impairments or blindness, according to the World Health Organization. If you or someone you love has trouble reading prescription labels, then this is the solution for you. Through this easy-to-use service, your pharmacist programs all your label information to an electronic tag, which can be read out loud with a ScripTalk Mobile Phone App or a ScripTalk Station at your convenience.

The App is available for download on iOS and Android.

Throughout the world, almost 800 million individuals are non-native English speakers. This figure does not even touch on those who do not speak English at all. When it comes to prescription medications, not understanding the labels can lead to illness, hospitalization or even death. Would you, a friend, or a loved one prefer prescription labels in your native language? Dual Language Prescription Labels are the solution. 25 languages are available!
