SALON COORDINATOR

As Receptionist you’ll be responsible for enabling and ensuring the Salon runs smoothly and as Salon Coordinator, you’ll usually be the first point-of-contact for Clients, making them feel welcome and comfortable. It’s a fantastic opportunity to work in a salon environment on a part-time or casual basis on weekends and during busy periods such as Christmas and school holidays.

APPRENTICESHIP

Start your hairdressing career with the largest network of fully qualified Stylists at Just Cuts. Completing your apprenticeship with Just Cuts sets you on a career path that you can style your own way with opportunities to become a Team Leader, Operations Manager or even Salon Owner one day. You will learn male barbering and hairdressing skills and be keen to learn and grow within a salon. Your Apprenticeship will give you 'on the floor' experience to build your confidence and competence while also studying the SHB30416 Certificate III in Hairdressing qualification. 

STYLIST

Hello fully qualified hairdressers! Do you love just cutting? A Just Cuts Stylist’s role involves, listening to Clients, advising them honestly, providing WOW service and a top-quality Style Cut they'll love. A Just Cuts Stylist is friendly, calm, helpful and a great team player as well as an experienced and fully qualified hairdresser. You'll enjoy a salon environment where you don't need to juggle Clients or bring a book of Clients with you. Each day you'll be able to give your full attention to each Client before moving on to the next. 

TEAM LEADER

A Just Cuts Team Leader supervises the team and helps the Franchise Owner in running the Salon. If you’re someone who loves the added challenge of extra responsibility, enjoys promoting a harmonious workplace, loves to help out Team Members and create a comfortable environment for all, a Team Leader position is a great role to work your way up to. 

FRANCHISE OWNER

Turn your dreams into reality. As a Franchise Owner, you’ll enjoy the ease of the Just Cuts business model, which has already been set up for you with operational, ordering and marketing systems all built into it. The model has also been fully digitalised with a range of support available online, including an e-learning platform, print marketing ordering system, retail reward program and Point of Service tools.You don’t have to be a hairdressing expert to own a Just Cuts. You will have all the support you need to recruit Team Leaders and Stylists to service your business. All you need are people skills and a passion to succeed!

Just Cuts was the brainchild of Denis McFadden, who, back in 1982 turned a simple idea into a business concept that would change the hairdressing industry forever. Always one to make the most of every situation, McFadden decided to run a promotion at his humble Sydney salon to boost business and offered all Clients a “no appointment, $6 Style Cut”. The response was outstanding, and the idea of Just Cuts was born.

The following year, the inaugural Just Cuts salon opened its door to the public. And in 1990, the first Just Cuts franchise opened in the suburb of Engadine, in the south of Sydney. Our brand has continued to expand ever since, with over 220 locations in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom now open.
