  • Last week Prime Minister Anthony Albanese made a significant announcement which will shape the future of the Australian Solar Industry.   The Solar SunShot Program has pledged $1bn of investment into locally made solar in an announcement made at AGL’s Energy Hub in NSW’s Hunter Region. At the centre of this is SunDrive Solar who have developed one of the world’s most efficient commercial-sized solar cells with plans to expand into large scale manufacturing in partnership with AGL in the Hunter.   Tactical Group Australia & New Zealand are thrilled to be supporting SunDrive as Project Managers in realising their vision as we transition to a more sustainable future.   Stay tuned for more in the coming months! #cleanenergy #sustainability

I want a future made in Australia. Our Solar SunShot program is a record investment in making solar panels here. Australia already has the highest uptake of household solar panels in the world, but only a tiny fraction were made here. We're changing that. And we'll export solar panels to the world, creating secure jobs for the Hunter in NSW. It's what real action on climate change looks like, made the Australian way.

We are pleased to announce that the Moorebank Intermodal Precinct (MIP) has been shortlisted for ‘Best New Mega Development’ at a prestigious international MIPIM Awards.  MIPIM, or Le marché international des professionnels de l’immobilier, is one of the biggest property events in the world and the winning projects will be announced at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on 14 March. If you’re attending MIPIM, don’t forget to vote online or in person at the event.  The project was selected for ‘Best New Mega Development’, which recognises projects larger than 150,000 sqm that demonstrate a holistic commitment to sustainability through distinct architectural, technical and environmental qualities. MIP is Australia’s largest intermodal logistics precinct, offering unparalleled supply chain benefits, warehousing opportunities and sustainability advantages. Once operational, the Precinct will become the vital link for an e-commerce-powered nation.  As the destination of choice for the world’s leading logistics operators including Mainfreight, Maersk and Primary Connect; MIP is working collaboratively with partners and industry to transform the nation’s supply chain, reduce environmental impact, and create a place for businesses and the local community to thrive. The project is also rehabilitating and safeguarding 100ha of biodiversity land and installing 60 MW of rooftop solar – enough to power 40,000 homes.   LOGOS Head of ANZ, Darren Searle, said: "The MIPIM Awards are the pinnacle of recognition for international development projects. The inclusion of Moorebank Intermodal Precinct among the finalists is a resounding endorsement of our project, underscoring how MIP surpasses any other logistics precinct in Australia in terms of scale, location and sustainability. Excited to share the completion of the Pharmaceutical Distribution Centre in Western Sydney, a project delivered for our client Charter Hall and their tenant. Reid Campbell had the privilege of partnering with Qanstruct to deliver comprehensive construction documentation and services. Standing at an impressive 25 meters tall with a total area of 28,000 square meters, the design includes temperature-controlled zones (Ambient to -25°C), Warehouse floor and Hygienic Packing rooms. Additionally, the facility features two levels of office space and a Dock Office to facilitate operations. A standout feature is the grand 40-meter deep and 8.5 meter-high super awning, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of pharmaceutical products from B Doubles and Semi-Trailers. This is facilitated through a network of temperature-controlled air lock systems.  https://lnkd.in/gGdZ7pRf Client - Charter Hall Builder - Qanstruct Tenant - Confidential Project Manager - Tactical Group Australia & New Zealand   Structural & Civil Engineer - Costin Roe Consulting Pty Ltd   Hydraulic Engineer - ACOR Consultants Landscape Architects - Habit8 #ReidCampbell #architects #architecturaldesign #warehouse #industrial #documentation #construction #DistributionCentre #architecture
