Season 3 of Livestock Tech Talks is all about the Red Meat and Wool Growth Program Focus Farms.

Focus Farms demonstrate the practical application of AgTech and biosecurity best practice on farms across SA through field days, site visits, case studies, videos and podcasts.

Tech Talks season 4

Season 4 of Livestock Tech Talks focuses on the importance of health and biosecurity for sheep and beef productivity, profitability and market access. Hear from key industry stakeholders about why biosecurity is a top priority for the red meat and wool industry, and what producers can do to boost biosecurity on their property.

The eight-episode series features topics such as:

  • the importance of individual animal electronic identification (EID) for traceability and market access
  • a wool industry perspective on emergency animal disease (EAD) preparedness
  • biosecurity tips for producers when purchasing livestock.

This season has been developed by the South Australian Livestock Biosecurity Extension project, made possible by the South Australian Government's Red Meat and Wool Growth Program and Animal Health Australia through the National Sheep Industry Biosecurity Strategy 2019–2024.
