Welcoming spaces supporting our communities.

Our communities have been through a lot, and sometimes life gets tough. If you are needing someone to talk to or are looking for information about mental health or drug and alcohol services, our friendly staff at Safe Haven can help.

What are Safe Haven hubs?

Safe Haven hubs were established in July 2022 to provide a welcoming, caring environment for people needing mental health support. Safe Haven clinicians and peer support workers are available on-site to provide free immediate care if a person is in distress. Local residents are also encouraged to simply drop-in for a cuppa and a chat with the friendly Safe Haven staff.

The recent floods have affected everyone in our community, not only people directly dealing with loss of property or possessions. Safe Haven hubs are for all of us — by visiting a Safe Haven, you’ll be able to get advice, information, and connect with people who care.
