What we offer at Stepping stones wellbeing

Stepping stones wellbeing is dedicated counselling services that provides support for those experiencing challenging times. Stepping Stones Wellbeing specialises in support to children, young adults, and families living with autism spectrum disorder, Adhd, comorbidities, co-complex and Alcohol and other drug. Karmyn, the owner of Stepping Stones Wellbeing, has personal experience with the challenges of living with neurodiversity. She herself is neurodiverse, and she is also raising her children who have autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and comorbidities. This is an area of support that is close to her heart. We aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with neurodivergent conditions. Through our programs and community initiatives, we strive to raise awareness and understanding of neurodiversity in our community and provide the necessary tools and resources to help our clients achieve their full potential.

Whether it's behavioural support, social skills development support, or community engagement, we are committed to working closely with families to provide personalised counselling and strategies that meet their unique needs and goals.

Stepping Stones Wellbeing, also provides tailored assistance to children and young adults who encounter certain difficulties. These challenges can range from AOD, managing their emotions to self-regulation and behavioural issues. Our personalised support aims to help individuals find effective strategies that work for them, empowering them to better manage their emotions and behaviours. We prioritise the overall well-being and mental health of the children and youth we work with, creating custom support plans that are child-led.

Stepping Stones Wellbeing and the Oatmill Cinema complex have joined forces to offer inclusive and exhilarating sensory sessions for both children and adults, regardless of their neurodiversity.

With lowered audio and lighting settings, you can fully immerse yourself in the big screen without being overwhelmed by sensory overstimulation. This unique and delightful experience is open to all, and we welcome you to join us.

To stay updated on the next sensory session, make sure to follow Stepping Stones Wellbeing and the Oatmill Cinema complex on Facebook.
