MyQLDHoliday chosen as local trade partner for Great Barrier Reef’s ‘scUber’ campaign

MyQLDHoliday has announced it will deliver exclusive Great Barrier Reef holiday packages as the Australian trade partner for ‘scUber’.

Launched earlier this month, scUber is a global campaign by the Queensland government and Uber which offers the world’s first underwater rideshare experience on the Great Barrier Reef available for a short time only until June 2019.

As the official distribution partner for Australia, MyQLDHoliday will power exclusive holiday deals with up to $3,500 bonus value, encompassing flights, transfers, accommodation, in-destination experiences, meal inclusions and more.

MyQLDHoliday will deliver packages for several of its partner resorts located on Heron Island, Hamilton Island, Cairns and Townsville, with a mix of tours and luxury inclusions on offer to all travellers.

The scUber campaign runs exclusively until 18 June 2019 and is supported by a global competition giving riders across the world the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime underwater scUber experience on the Great Barrier Reef.

MyQLDHoliday is one of 14 destination-specific brands belonging to My Holiday Centre, a division of Ignite Travel Group (ITG).

Ryan Thomas, chief executive of ITG, said the company was proud to be onboard as a key distribution partner of the scUber campaign.

“Our team of experts have bundled together complete-packaged escapes that embrace everything unique about our Sunshine State,” he said.

“By highlighting the diverse mix of experiences available, we’re ensuring everyone who comes to discover the region has a memorable stay with plenty of opportunity to enjoy a thriving network of resorts, tours and in-destination experiences that reflect all there is to do in Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef.”
