Privacy for the stakeholder database
The Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) and Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AUASB) are conducting a review of their stakeholder database.
The purpose of this survey is to provide stakeholders an opportunity to opt in or out of our database.
Should you opt out, you will be removed entirely from our database and will not receive any future communications.
If you choose to opt in, the AASB / AUASB will send you information on your choice of chosen category or categories.
For stakeholders that opt in, you will be asked to provide information including name, email address, company and position.
The AASB/AUASB will not disclose personal information about you to anybody else without your consent unless we are required to do so by law.
Providing us with the requested information is not required by law. Should you choose not to provide that information, no further action will occur. Please see the AASB/AUASB Privacy Policy for more information about how we handle your personal information, how you can request to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, and whom to contact if you have a privacy enquiry or complaint.
If you do not agree with the above or provide us with your personal and sensitive information, we may not be able to provide you with our services or products.
The newsletter email has an unsubscribe function that can be used to remove your email from the distribution list.
Users can unsubscribe to the database (and all mailing lists) via completing this survey at any stage in the future. Opting out of the mailing list will be available from the homepages of AASB and AUASB.
