Strategies

ACT Women's Plan 2016 – 2026: sets out the ACT Government’s ongoing commitment to work in partnership with non-government organisations, business and the broader community towards gender equality for all ACT women. It outlines priority areas for action to enhance the economic status, social inclusion, safety and wellbeing of ACT women.

Honours and awards

  • ACT Women's Awards: recognise the ACT Woman of the Year, ACT Young Woman of the Year and ACT Senior Woman of the Year who improve the status and lives of women and girls in the ACT.
  • Women's Honour Roll: showcases the achievements of women in the ACT and those who are excelling in their field.

Advisory councils and reference groups

ACT Ministerial Advisory Council on Women: gives strategic advice to the Minister for Women on issues affecting women in the ACT.
