No, however Adelaide Oval, in collaboration with St John’s, have a number of first aid spaces around the venue, including nearby the temporary sensory space, should anyone have an experience that escalates to requiring medical assistance.

During Gather Round, there is no specific time limit, people may be approached by a staff member to ‘check-in’ and see if they are ready to return to the game. This may be more frequent if the space is at capacity.

During the Gather Round, the space will accommodate up to 50 people, including guardians, seeking sensory regulation at any one time, pending what areas of the space are in use.

Patrons who are ticketed to the Accessible Platform on the Oval or General Admission floor can access via the western concourse at the back of the western stand. Please see staff who will be able to escort and assist.

For all other Accessible Seating, please visit our Access Information page.

At Adelaide Oval, your safety is our priority. For event safety assistance, please text 0400 TELL US (0400 835 587).

Complimentary earplugs are available from Stadium Concierge located just inside the South Gate.

There are a number of ways to enjoy Adelaide Oval on non-event days but it’s worth noting public access to the stadium is limited to particular parts of the venue.

Koffee Ink and Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen both provide a great place to enjoy coffee and refreshments but always best to check the opening hours before you come because they do change when events are being held. The Bradman Collection is free to view and open Monday to Saturday from 9am-4pm. As of Friday 15 April 2022, visitors to Adelaide Oval will no longer be required to show proof of double COVID 19 vaccination. This change has been made on the basis of South Australia’s high vaccination rate, continued easing of restrictions and the return to 100% capacity. It will still be a requirement that all Adelaide Oval staff are double vaccinated. Make sure you keep up to date with, and abide by, all Adelaide Oval Conditions of Entry.

Yes, Suite 55 in level 4 of the Eastern stand will be setup as a temporary sensory safe space for this event. Capacity is limited to 20 so we ask patrons to please only use the space for short periods if required. Please approach staff if you need assistance navigating to the space.

Depending on the details of your situation, you may be eligible for a refund. We recommend reviewing the Ticketek Refund FAQs and Conditions prior to making a claim. Alternatively, you can transfer your ticket to a friend via the “share” button at the bottom of your mobile ticket – this is a single transfer sharing opportunity. Detailed mobile sharing FAQs can be found on the Ticketek website here.

Yes, all tickets purchased via credit card will automatically be refunded back to the original credit card that was used at the time of booking. For tickets that were purchased by EFTPOS, cash, or a credit card that has now expired, one of the ticketing team will contact you to finalise the refund. Please note this process may take multiple business days to appear back in your bank account.

Limit the number and size of bags you bring and have any bags ready for inspection as you approach your entry gate. This will make security checks faster and safer. Bags small enough to be stored under a seat will be permitted into the venue. Cricket or sporting bags longer than 30cm are not permitted. As an outdoor venue, we recommend dressing comfortably and appropriately for weather conditions. Note that there are no cloaking facilities. Dress code and information regarding restricted or prohibited items can be found in our Conditions of Entry.

A boutique hotel is an innovation that will not only help offset the ongoing costs associated with operating and maintaining the stadium, but will also ensure Adelaide Oval stays at the forefront of innovation in what is an extremely competitive international event market.

Oval Hotel will be an important addition to South Australia’s $6.7 billion visitor economy, which is a critical driver of jobs and investment. The hotel will create 120 ongoing FTE roles.

Oval Hotel will be built and managed by the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority. It will not be operated by an external provider, nor will it carry any large-scale external signage. A large number of Adelaide Oval staff members have extensive experience working in the four and five-star hotel and casino industry.

The design is being overseen by COX Architecture and project managed by Mott MacDonald, the same team responsible for the award-winning redevelopment of Adelaide Oval.

None of the stadium’s existing access/egress including the plaza and atrium entry are affected by the development. Planning is already underway to ensure the impact of construction on game day patrons arriving/leaving the stadium at the East Gate is kept at a minimum.

The hotel has been designed to fit as unobtrusively and seamlessly into the existing design as possible, retaining the magnificent views while not impacting the experience for game day patrons.

The 138-room boutique hotel will feature two wings that will integrate into the existing design on either side of the East Gate. They will be linked by an elevated foyer and lounge pod with views into the east atrium and out to the parklands and city skyline.

The design of the hotel has been extensively reviewed by the Office for Design and Architecture South Australia (ODASA) to ensure it complements the current outstanding Adelaide Oval design environment.

Bookings are now open and can be made here.

The South Australian Government announced its initial plans to revamp Adelaide Oval in December 2009, pledging $535 million to the project. In March 2011, the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) reached a landmark agreement to bring football and cricket back together at Adelaide Oval.

The redevelopment began in April 2012 lead by a project management team comprising Lend Lease, Cox Architects and Mott MacDonald.

Achieving both its schedule and budget targets, Adelaide Oval officially reopened on 29 March, 2014 for the Port Adelaide v Adelaide Showdown, a match which attracted 50,397 fans. For the first time in 40 years, Adelaide Oval was once again the home of both football and cricket.

To assist in the management of children who become separated from their parents or guardians, Adelaide Oval will provide white wristbands (with a contact mobile number) at the stadium concierge, entry gates, St John rooms and with event day supervisors. The handout asks parents/guardians to place their mobile phone number on a wristband for their children and take a photo on their phone of their child on arrival to recall on for a clothing description. Parents/guardians are then asked to educate their children on what to do should they become lost/separated by identifying safe people to approach for help.

There are no permanent sports betting outlets located at Adelaide Oval.
