Palliative care conversations workshop for CALD aged care workforce

Date: Tuesday 8 December 2020

Time: 10:30am to 12:00noon 

Venue: online

Who can attend: For aged care and palliative support managers, staff and workers who are providing direct services to frail aged persons in ethnic groups. Only 30 places available. Book early to avoid disappointment.

What it is about: Palliative Care Conversations

  • gain the skills and confidence to speak to clients about their concerns regarding death and dying, end of life, etc.
  • how to respond respectfully when a client mentions death, dying or asks about it
  • how to deal with our own fears around this

Cost: $20.00 per person (includes GST)

Workshop facilitator: The workshop will be facilitated by a clinician from the Learning, Development and Research Team at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem.

Online format: the workshops will be offered through an online format. A link will be sent to you before the workshop to enable access as well as instructions to download Webex.
