The family that owns one of Thailand's premier food import businesses, Sino-Pacific Trading, has struck the biggest Australian hotel deal of the year after buying the 145-room Vibe Darling Harbour Sydney for $108 million.

Title deeds show the recently opened hotel on Sussex Street is now in the hands of Serenity Asset Sussex, a local subsidiary of the Savetsomphob family's Sino-Pacific Trading.
