2024 Kingswood Public School P&C Association Membership Form

The Kingswood Public School Parents and Citizens Association (or KPS P&C) welcomes new members. To join, you'll need to complete the form below and pay a $2 annual membership fee.

What is a P&C? P&Cs are organisations made up of parents, interested community members and teachers. The KPS P&C is a diverse group of volunteers who work with the school to provide opportunities to advance students’ wellbeing and education.

What we do:
- fundraise for projects big and small, and decide where to spend the money raised.
- are engaged with what is happening in the school.
- organise social events for parents and families.
- help the school with events/activities.
- work with the school to achieve its goals.

Joining the P&C keeps you connected and gives you a voice.

You do not need to be able to come to meetings to be a member. We welcome you to be involved as little, or as much as you are comfortable with. All members will receive meeting minutes by email.

All members must agree to follow our constitution, by-laws, code of conduct and grievance policy, which can be found on the Kingswood Public School website under the P&C section.

What does financial membership mean?
Financial membership enables members to participate in decision making at Kingswood P&C meetings.
Meetings are open to all members of the school community but only financial members may vote on decisions or be on the executive team.

Which day/time would you be able to attend meetings? Note: You do not have to attend meetings to be a member, we will send you minutes and keep you updated if you can not attend.

Currently we meet on Thursdays at 3:30pm, once a month.
Payment of $2 membership fee
Financial members must pay a membership fee of $2.
This can be completed in cash to the office, or by online bank transfer.

CASH PAYMENT:
Place $2 in an envelope clearly marked with your name and 'P&C membership', you or your child can put it in the red P&C box located in the KPS Office.
