In its 20th anniversary year, the awards recognise the achievements of exceptional manufacturers across the state and acknowledge the key role manufacturing plays in Victoria.

The theme this year is ‘Made in Victoria’ – highlighting the importance of local manufacturing and the breadth of products, technology and equipment produced in the state.

There are three new categories this year including, ‘Leader in low carbon economy’, ‘Outstanding responsiveness to COVID‑19’ and ‘Leader in diversity and inclusion’.

These categories reflect the industry’s agility and talent shown over the past two years throughout the pandemic – whether it’s adapting to make critical medical supplies or onshoring production to boost local supply chains.

Established in 2001, the Hall of Fame Awards recognise individuals and companies that embrace new technologies, are globally competitive and excel in business innovation – showcasing Victoria’s leading manufacturing capabilities.

Manufacturing in Victoria supports more than 260,000 jobs and contributes around $30 billion to the local economy each year.

Winners will be announced at the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards Gala Dinner on Tuesday 26 July at the Palladium at Crown.
