Managing work-related psychosocial hazards

On 6 October 2021, WorkSafe ACT launched their inaugural Strategy for Managing Work-Related Psychosocial Hazards 2021-23. 

Our strategy is the framework to guide action to:

  • Build understanding and awareness of workplace obligations
  • Ensure PCBUs are appropriately assessing risk and implementing control measures and safe systems of work
  • Ensure incidents are reported
  • Ensure appropriate regulatory action, and
  • Assist in the development of a mature and sophisticated workforce that addresses psychosocial hazards in the same way as physical hazards.

Managing work-related sexual harassment 

The Managing Work-Related Sexual Harassment Plan 2021-23 will guide the activities of WorkSafe ACT to educate, engage and enforce issues related to sexual harassment (also known as gender-based violence and harassment).
