Market – Saturday 13 April 2024
We can’t wit to welcome you back to the market this Saturday. We’ll be full to the brim with fresh Autumn produce!
This Saturday we see the return of Brown Mountain Trout Farm as well as Narooma Seafoods who are with us WEEKLY now!
This fortnight we have Alpine Nuts with new season walnuts as well as BK Kraut, Murray River Smokehouse and Mick Curtis Bananas.
What’s looking good right now? Chestnuts, walnuts, apples, potatoes and pumpkins!
Getting to the Market
We’re located on the grounds of Exhibition Park In Canberra, Mitchell. Open every Saturday 7-11.30am.
Entry is via:
🟢 Old Well Station Road through the two gates – our Farmers Market Gate and the Double Gate Road into our carpark ONLY.
🟢 Northbourne Avenue/Federal Highway at Gate 4 (Service Station/McDonalds entry), turn right and follow road to Farmers Market Carpark.
🚶♂️🚴♂️ Pedestrian and Cycling access is available at Gate 4 (Service Station entry)
🚆 Light Rail Access: After getting off at Flemington Road stop, enter via Gate 1 (directly across from the light rail station) and walk around the ring road to the market.
🐕🦺 Please note that dogs are not permitted within the Market Shed (assistance dogs allowed) however they are more than welcome to hang out in Bicentennial Park directly next door.

Sample the region’s freshest produce at the Capital Region Farmers Market, a community project run by the Rotary Club of Hall.
This week we’re welcoming back Armanini Produce and John & Dora Andonaros with fresh asparagus, Formichi Smallgoods, Nanophire Microgreens, Randall’s Organic Rice, Gum Tree Pies, Yenda Strawberries, Cascades Nursery, Stonedog Meadery and NEW stallholder Salads Direct from Cobargo.
Getting to the Market
We’re located on the grounds of Exhibition Park In Canberra, Mitchell.
Entry is via:

⛔ There is NO access via the road through the Shipping Containers from Mitchell.

🚆 Light Rail Access: After getting off at Flemington Road stop, walk to the main entrance of EPIC and then follow the ring road up to the market (total 1km)
