Access ignites this Disability Action Week

The business benefits of diversity, inclusion and accessibility are under the spotlight this Disability Action Week, from 25 November to 2 December 2023.

With the theme, Access ignites: it’s good business, Disability Action Week encourages greater representation of people with disability in Queensland workplaces and as business owners and consumers.

Business owners are urged to consider how improving access will boost their bottom line, both by recruiting staff with disability and becoming more accessible to customers living with disability.

Register today for the Queenslanders with Disability Network’s (QDN) free Disability Action Week webinar, on Friday 1 December from 10am to 12pm, to find out more about the business benefits of employing people with disability.

The webinar, a key event for Disability Action Week, features an exciting line-up of speakers and panellists to highlight how people with disability as employers and business owners are driving commercial success.

More information about Disability Action Week, and workforce diversity, inclusion and accessibility, is at www.qld.gov.au/daw.
