Did you know that all children in ACT Public Schools are entitled to a session of religious
education every week within the school week?
In 2023 weekly classes were run at Neville Bonner School, Amaroo School and Gunghalin College with 230 students registered and 18 Volunteer Teachers
The program has expanded in 2024 to an additional 12 schools.
This registration form collects the required details and consent for the students who will be attending these classes.
If you are a parent of students in Years K-10
Please register your children here. Your consent is required to enable your child/ren's participation in the Islamic Education program. By completing and submitting this form you consent to your child/ren participating in the program at school.
Students at multiple schools? If you have children in different schools, please fill a separate registration form for each school.
Please note that your consent will remain in place for the duration of the program, unless you withdraw it explicitly via an email to admin@acties.org.au.
Note: Amaroo School has its own additional consent/permission form which parents whose children are enrolled there will be required to complete as well before the student can attend class.
If you are a Student in College (Years 11-12)
Students in Years 11 and 12 must register themselves to attend these classes and must complete this form.
