Once the correctly completed nomination has been submitted, the initial infringement notice will be withdrawn and a new infringement notice will be issued to the nominated driver.

The registered owner of the vehicle need take no further action regarding the matter or make any payments.

As the registered owner of this vehicle, you can nominate another driver if

  • Someone else was the driver in possession or control of the vehicle at the time of the offence.
  • You sold the vehicle to someone else or permanently disposed of the vehicle (evidence required)
  • You believe the vehicle, number plates or your identity has been misused (evidence required)
