In April 2019, members of our Board and Executive hosted a stakeholder forum where a proposed solution was presented that would release available network capacity within the Eastern Goldfields region.
Since then we've has been working with internal and external stakeholders to develop the Eastern Goldfields Load Permissive Scheme (ELPS) solution which will be ready to ‘go live’ in June 2021.
We'd like to invite you along to the Eastern Goldfields Load Forum 2021 where you'll be updated on the following:
- Overview of Western Power’s commitment to meet the Goldfields power supply requirements and strategy for expansion in the region, including potential projects.
- Progress on the ELPS solution
- Update from Norton Gold Fields as to the benefits and challenges of having an interruptible supply for 3 of their mine sites
