Project Information
You are invited to share your views to help shape the future of Light Square/Wauwi (the Square) as part of the development of the Square's master plan.
The master plan will guide the Square's future as an important community green space in the west end of the city. A key benefit of preparing a master plan is the development of a vision to guide improvements for the community.
We hope to hear from a wide range of our communities to ensure the master plan is informed by a broad cross section of people.
The master plan will identify issues and opportunities and aims to reflect the diverse needs of our community. The master plan will make suggestions for improvements over the next 5 to 10 years and provide a framework for investment and partnerships.
The image below shows the map of the master plan area.
What happens next?
A summary of the feedback we receive during each phase of engagement will be available on the Your Say website. Your comments and ideas will inform the development of a draft vision, principles and a range of ideas for improvement.
In phase 2 the community will be invited to give feedback on the draft master plan. This is planned to commence in July 2024.
