Dear colleagues,

I am writing to let you know that Anna Tsikouris, the University’s outstanding CFO, will be leaving us when her term finishes in March 2024. Anna has made a major contribution to the stability and health of our University during some of the most financially turbulent years we have faced.

Joining ANU from the commercial world, Anna brought strategic thinking, great technical skill and incredible precision to our University when she joined us in 2020. From the beginning, Anna understood our financial and systems challenges and brought remarkable energy to resolving them, introducing a five year financial plan, quarterly forecasting and revolutionising the accessibility, reporting and understanding of our financial position. Throughout, she had the trust and respect of the Council, its committees, the University’s leadership and our commercial partners.

We all owe Anna a huge debt of gratitude for her professionalism and leadership during testing times. A recruitment process for our next CFO will be launched as soon as possible. A further update will be provided shortly.
