2020 RHH Research Foundation Big December Breakfast
Event description
Kirk Pengilly is a founding member of INXS, one of Australia's most loved rock bands, which started in 1977 and have sold in excess of 50 million records worldwide. INXS have collected countless awards, including 3 Grammy nominations, and have been inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame.
Kirk, undoubtedly the most recognisable member, has a definitive place in INXS, being the versatile 'utility man'. As principle backing vocalist, saxophonist and guitarist, he contributed to a great deal of the music that INXS released.
Kirk will be telling the story of his rise to fame, his friendship with Michael Hutchence, meeting his wife Layne
Beachley and his battle with cancer and Glaucoma.
Our Big December Breakfast is the ideal way to herald the arrival of Christmas with festive entertainment, a
