Mildura Rural City Council, with support from Emergency Recovery Victoria, is providing FREE first aid training in Nangiloc for local residents.
Delivered by Mildura & District First Aid training this course will cover how to respond effectively during an emergency event. The training will cover how to administer first aid and basic life support and how to manage casualties and incidents, along with life-saving CPR techniques.
Event Details:
The training will cover the following:
- HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid, which will also include the following units:
- HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support.
HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation can be done on its own if you have already done HLTAID011 within the last 3 years.
There are two options – a day course and an evening course (minimum numbers required to run both).
