Event description

Save the Children is Australia’s largest aid and development organization dedicated to protecting children and their rights. Save the Children also provides essential services and programs before, during and after an emergency that are specifically designed to support children and their parents.

As part of the program’s delivery in Australia and contribution to the global evidence base, Save the Children have partnered with the University of Melbourne, to provide an evaluation of the program’s delivery during two school terms in 2020-2021 and generate insights into the status of recovery in heavily affected communities.

We will hear from renowned public health researcher, Professor Lisa Gibbs and Dr Lauren Carpenter as well as from the children and schools who participated in the program.

Register now for Thursday 16th of September between 10.00-11.00 am AEST.

If you have any queries or questions, please contact the Journey of Hope team on journeyofhope@savethechildren.org.au.
