You will work with young people to build rapport based on trust and respect and help work to develop goals and strategies to manage their wellbeing. You will respond to mental health concerns and behaviour in a non-judgmental and compassionate manner.This service is a 24hour facility so the successful candidate will be required to work during the evening. The current shifts run during the hours of 4.45pm until 8.15am the following day. About you:HOPE is a firm believer in training and development for our staff.  You will be provided with the training and tools needed to succeed in the next chapter of your career. We run a friendly and collaborative working environment where everyone is supported.Ideally, you will have experience in working with vulnerable young people and knowledge of the issues impacting young people in the Youth Justice system. This understanding will give you the ability to navigate difficult behavioural situations. You will show commitment to HOPE's vision, mission and values and understand how to work respectfully and in a culturally secure way with Aboriginal communities and individuals.
