The Lions Eye Institute Eye to Eye Photographic Competition.

To celebrate the Lions Eye Institute’s 40th birthday in 2023, we are hosting a photographic competition for Western Australia, focused on the topic of eyes and eye health.

Get your phones out, dust off your cameras and enter your best photos!

Thanks to our sponsors Cygnet Bay Pearls, we have some great prizes on offer. Entry is free for up to three photographs per entrant and you must be a resident of Western Australia.

Award categories include three adult categories, a child category and a People’s Choice Award.

Human eye, window to the world

Any artistic and creative interpretation of the human eye.

PRIZE: $2,500 cash

Use your imagination to show us the world through your eyes.

PRIZE: $2,500 cash plus a two night accommodation package for two people at the Pearler’s Village at the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm (valued at $904)

Seeing through a child’s eye

Encouraging young photographers to submit their photos of human eyes, animal eyes or unique perspectives on the world through their own eyes.

People's Choice Award

An extra award which will be voted on by the public during an in-person photographic exhibition of short-listed images.
