Online Registration for the 2024 ALDE Conference is now open. Early Bird Registration Fees are available until Monday, 29 April 2024. All registration fees are inclusive of GST and are shown in Australian dollars.



Registration Types

Early Bird Registration

Early Bird registration closes on Monday, 29 April 2024 . You must register before this date to receive the discounted early bird registration fees. Registration is by credit card payment only unless special arrangements are made with the Conference Secretariat. Should an Early Bird invoice not be paid by the close of Early Bird registration, the registration fee will be amended to the Standard fee. 

Standard Registration

Standard registration will close on Wednesday, 14 August. Registration is by credit card payment only unless special arrangements are made with the Conference Secretariat. For registrations made within 21 days from the first day of the Conference (Monday, 19 August 2024), invoices must be settled by Monday, 12 August. Late registration fees apply after the Standard registration close date.

Day Delegate Registration

Day delegate registration covers attendance for a delegate attending the conference for one day only and does not include attendance at any social events. If you would like to attend for more than one day, a full conference registration must be purchased. Additional social event tickets can also be purchased by day delegates.



Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registration is by credit card payment only unless special arrangements are made with the Conference Secretariat. For registrations made within 21 days from the first day of the Conference on Monday, 19 August 2024 invoices must be settled by Monday, 12 August. 

Early Bird registrations must be paid in full by no later than the close of Early Bird registration on Monday, 29 April 2024. All outstanding Early Bird registrations after this date will revert to the 'Standard' registration rate and a new invoice will be issued. 


Registration Cancellations

All cancellations must be advised to GEMS Event Management Australia in writing via email before the cancellation can be processed. Cancellations will not be deemed to be received until you have written confirmation from GEMS Event Management Australia. If you have not received acknowledgment within five (5) business days, please contact GEMS Event Management Australia on +61 2 9744 5252. If the cancellation is not received in writing, the registration fees will not be cancelled and full registration will still be payable.

Registration Cancellations received in writing by the Conference Organisers by Monday, 1 July 2024 will be accepted and all fees refunded less an AUD$125 administration fee. Cancellations received after this date cannot be accepted and will not be refunded, however, transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable. The full name and address details of the new delegate must be advised in writing to the Conference Organisers at least 5 days prior to the Conference.

Online registration received by GEMS Event Management Australia are considered to be confirmed by the delegate. No tentative bookings will be accepted. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Conference and any unpaid registration fees will still be payable.

In the case of a medical emergency which has caused a registered delegate to not attend the Conference, the Conference Organiser must be provided with a medical certificate or appropriate documentation before any refund will be considered. Where the Conference Organisers are advised of the situation after the Conference, and a refund is deemed to be appropriate, the delegate must still pay the administration fee, along with any catering charges incurred for all catering events at which they were scheduled to attend.


Accommodation Cancellations

Accommodation cancellations received within 30 days of the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equal to the 100% of the total accommodation fee. No refunds will be made for non-attendance and any unpaid accommodation fees will still be payable.


Payment Options

A Tax Invoice will be automatically sent to you at the time of registration. All registrations are payable by credit card at the time of registration. If you wish to pay by purchase order, please contact the Accounts Team at GEMS Event Management Australia on 02 9744 5252.
