Healthy Tasmania

The Healthy Tasmania Five-Year Strategic Plan 2022–2026 was launched on 4 March 2022.

Healthy Tasmania is the Government’s plan for preventive health in Tasmania. The Plan brings together communities, services and all levels of government to work in partnership for improved health and wellbeing.

The Healthy Tasmania Fund provides grant funding for community-led initiatives to improve health and wellbeing.

The Government has committed $8 million over four years for the Fund.

There are four grant streams:

  • Step Forward
  • Lift Local
  • Healthy Focus
  • Healthy Together

Other Healthy Tasmania Fund funded grants

Healthy Tasmania is partnering with Relationships Australia Tasmania to support Neighbours Every Day 2024 in Tasmania by funding a Neighbours Every Day community grant. The grants aim to support neighbourly activities to create social connection and address loneliness in the community.
