PARENT 1 to 1 DEVICE USER AGREEMENT – FOR SCHOOL AND HOME USE

Please complete a separate form for each child eligible to receive a device

Parent responsibilities include:

Reading the Acceptable Use Guidelines carefully and discuss them with your child so you both have a clear understanding of your responsibilities.
Encouraging your child to follow cyber-safe strategies.
Contacting the school if there is any aspect of the Acceptable Use Guidelines you would like more information about.
Acknowledging that your child cares for the resources issued under the Student Device Scheme. It is acknowledged that costs associated with repairing or replacing a damaged or lost device are the user's responsibility. Further details are contained in the Acceptable Use Guidelines.

I/We have read, understood and agree to the details explained in the acceptable use guidelines.
I/We are aware of the school’s initiatives to maintain the care, use and management of the device in a cyber-safe learning environment.
I/We understand that failure to comply with the details included in the documents listed above could result in restrictions being applied to the use of the device. We understand that at all times, the College’s philosophical aims, rules and regulations will be adhered to under the 1 to 1 Learning Program.
I/We will ensure that our child understands the responsibilities and rules associated with their device use.

This agreement will remain in force as long as your child is participating in the 1 to 1 program. If it becomes necessary to add or amend any information or rule, you will be advised in writing.

The College will display on its website and in other marketing material the College’s philosophical aims, rules and regulations with which the parents and students are expected to comply.
