Goa has unveiled the Revised Solid Waste Management Policy (SWMP) 2022-2037 which addresses the urgent need for an effective waste management framework in the state. The revised SWMP is formulated under the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, and aims to enhance infrastructure for waste management and provide support to local bodies and authorised agencies in their waste management functions.
