The Kenya Forest Service (KFS) has refuted claims that a portion of the Oloolua Forest in Kajiado County has been encroached upon. In a statement on X, KFS clarified that no individual had been allocated land within the forest. The allegations, which originated from a group of politicians from the county, led to protests among the local community. The politicians claimed that about 50 acres of the forest in Karen/Ngong were in the process of being grabbed.
