Dress Code Golf Course & Practice Facilities Men: Traditional or modern male golfing attire must be worn on the golf course and practice facilities at all times, including: » Tailored or golf-specific trousers and shorts, preferably worn with a belt; » Collared, turtle-neck or golf-specific shirts, tucked in at all times; » All clothing free from excessive slogans or advertising; » Long socks, pulled up at all times, when worn with shorts; » Sockettes or short socks, to be white or matching the predominant colour of the golfers outfit, when worn with

shorts;

The following attire is not permitted on the golf course or practice facilities: » Any clothing made from denim material; » Cargo style trousers or shorts, tracksuit or leisure pants, trousers or shorts with elasticised or drawstring waists, » » » »

football shorts or board shorts; Three-quarter length trousers; T-shirts or singlets; Golf shoes with hard or metal spikes; Thongs, scuffs or boots (of any kind);

Women: Traditional or modern female golfing attire must be worn on the golf course and practice facilities at all times, including: » Tailored or golf-specific trousers, three-quarter trousers, shorts and skirts; » Collared, turtle-neck or golf-specific shirts, tucked in at all times unless designed to be worn untucked; » All clothing free from excessive slogans or advertising; » Sockettes or short socks, which are plain or substantially white, or complement the colour of other clothing,

when worn with shorts or skirts;

The following attire is not permitted on the golf course or practice facilities: » Any clothing made from denim material; » Cargo style trousers or shorts, tracksuit or leisure pants, or stirrup pants; » Golf shoes with hard or metal spikes; » Thongs, scuffs or boots (of any kind);

Members will be held accountable for their guests complying with this dress code and are advised to minimise the potential for embarrassment by ensuring that their guests are aware of the Club's requirements. It is not the role of members to enforce this dress code upon other members or guests (other than your own guest). If you see another person failing to meet the standards of this dress code, please notify a staff member so that the appropriate action can be taken. [Updated 27/01/2021]


Dress Code Clubhouse & Other Information Neat and tidy, casual dress is the minimum standard acceptable in the Clubhouse at all times. In general terms, attire which is acceptable on the course is acceptable in the Clubhouse. Additionally, members and guests may wear denim jeans, open collared shirts and other casual style shirts (including tshirts) when attending a Club or outside function, or when using the Club’s bar, bistro and dining facilities, provided they are neat and tidy at all times. Shirts may also be worn untucked, provided they are designed in this manner. Leather boat shoes and dress sandals may be worn in the clubhouse without socks. Golf shoes may be worn in all areas of the Clubhouse, except the Dining Room, unless prior permission has been granted. The following attire is not permitted in the Clubhouse at any time: » Tanktops and singlets; » Cargo style trousers or shorts, tracksuit or leisure pants, trousers or shorts with elasticised or drawstring » » » »

waists, stirrup pants, football shorts or board shorts; Clothing with excessive or inappropriate slogans or advertising; Clothing with rips or tears; Golf shoes with hard or metal spikes; Thongs or work boots (of any kind);

Caps, visors, and hats, must not be worn inside the upper level of the clubhouse. Notwithstanding the above requirements, members and guests must still adhere to any special dress requirements imposed by the Club during any function held in the Clubhouse.

Dress standards are designed to support and enhance an appropriate level of decorum within the Club, and to meet with a degree of acceptability among all members. Hence members, their guests, and others playing golf at the Club, must adhere to the code, and to its spirit. The Club reserves the right to maintain and enforce proper standards of dress both on the course and in the clubhouse. Persons not correctly attired may be prevented from entering onto the course or may be refused service within, or be requested to leave, the Clubhouse on the authority of the Professional (or his staff), the Clubhouse Operations Manager, the Bar Manager, or the General Manager. It is accepted that there will be times when visitors to the Club do not meet the expectations of this dress code such as 'outside' events being conducted for the financial benefit of the Club. Therefore, it is not in-appropriate that differential expectations may apply in such circumstances, but that the tolerance of different dress forms does not diminish the responsibility of those who are members, and authorised golfing visitors, to meet, and promote, the standards contained in this code.
