About the webinar
Meeting demand for quality, affordable and scalable psychosocial support services is an urgent and old problem that needs new solutions.
Building on a long legacy of supporting those with severe or persistent mental ill health, SANE has stepped up to this challenge and evolved traditional support service delivery into effective and accessible digital mental health services.
Following a comprehensive co-design process, and with the support of the Australian Government, SANE has developed a new personalised digital service that facilitates immediate access to a range of psychosocial support options including counselling, peer support, online community forums and online recovery services.
This Australian-first service has now been delivered to over 3000 individuals and carers impacted by complex mental health issues and independent evaluation has demonstrated both efficacy and potential.
Join us on 26 October 2023 from 12 – 1pm to hear about this innovative service, what we have found, what we have learned and the opportunities we have to enhance this service further.
You will hear from:
- Janet Meagher AM, SANE Patron and Lived Experience Advocate
- Rachel Green, SANE CEO
- Dr Caroline Johnson, GP, GP Educator and former Board Member of Mental Health Australia
This online event is specifically designed for those working in mental health or mental health related fields including primary care, community mental health, clinical services, social services, peer work, policy and research but we welcome anyone who wishes to attend.
There will be 15 minutes allocated for questions.
