The world continued to grapple with COVID-19 in 2021, but GDP was able to deliver many positive results for the global dairy sector thanks to the support from its governance groups, membership and network of partnering organizations.

In a major step forward for the global dairy sector, GDP signed a historic Partnership Memorandum of Understanding with FAO.

GDP has become a supporter of the Global Methane Pledge, which aims to reduce global anthropogenic methane emission levels at least 30% by 2030.
