Learning about the impacts of COVID-19 on psychological therapy service delivery and uptake
Queensland PHNs* together with professional associations are working together to improve psychological therapy services in our regions.
In this context, psychological therapy providers are defined as a range of professionals who deliver structured therapy that addresses psychological distress and includes: Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Nurses, Counsellors, Low Intensity Psychological Therapy providers.
The purpose of this survey is to understand the impacts that the COVID-19 has had on psychological therapy service delivery,client access, and mental health services more broadly. We welcome youto share yourexperiences and learnings with us.
Survey results will be used to develop a virtual workshop where we can further discuss learnings and identify what opportunities exist to sustain positive changes to the way services are delivered and the way people access them as we transition beyond COVID-19.
Both survey and workshop results will be shared with participants and used to inform actions in our whole of mental health sector regional plan which aims to improve psychological therapy services and client outcomes in our region.
The survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
