Incorporated Associations Info SessionThere have been changes to the regulations around model rules with the introduction of the Associations Incorporation Reform Regulations (2023). If you are using model rules, or have reported using model rules, these changes have come into effect and may have impacted your constitution. Victorian Law Week is back in May 2024 is a fantastic opportunity to connect with your community and help Victorians understand their rights, find answers to their questions, know what help is available and how our legal system works. Constitutions, DGR and The ACNCThere are changes coming to not-for-profit (NFP) eligibility and tax exemptions. Cameron MacRae will explain the changes, and discuss how you can ensure you meet the requirements and definitions of charity status and tax exemptions. If the purpose of your House does not match the definitions of a NFP, you risk of losing the tax exemption/NFP status.
