Click here The latest from Neighbourhood Houses Victoria Incorporated Associations Info SessionThere have been changes to the regulations around model rules with the introduction of the Associations Incorporation Reform Regulations (2023). If you are using model rules, or have reported using model rules, these changes have come into effect and may have impacted your constitution. Tue 27 Feb, 10am - Register here Victorian Law Week GrantsNHVic (with support from Victoria Law Foundation) are running a small grant program for Neighbourhood Houses to apply for funding to run events during law week, which is 20 May to 26 May 2024. Our grant program opens on the Tuesday 6 February and closes on Tuesday 27 February. New rules for fixed term contractsSubmit your questions before the session here! The Australian Government has amended the Fair Work Act to place conditions on the use of fixed term contracts when engaging employees. The rules came into effect on 6 Dec 2023. They require employers to give new employees engaged on a fixed term contract a Fixed Term Contract Information Statement and will limit how fixed term contracts can be used.
