Clarence Valley Waste App

The Clarence Valley Council waste app has been developed to allow users to have all the waste and recycling information they need at their fingertips.

Not only can users keep track of their bin collection day with a customized collection schedule, they  may opt for an alert in advance of their collection day and for special events including the annual Kerbside Cleanup, Clean Up Australia Day, Second Hand Saturday and National Recycling Week activities. Other information provided on the free app includes the correct recycling or disposal procedure for materials (a-z guide), the location and hours of operation for drop off depots, a link to council’s fees and charges and contact details for Council and the waste hotline.

The app also allows Council to issue important waste management messages to smartphones.

The Clarence Valley waste app is extremely user friendly and will encourage residents to take greater responsibility for resource recovery and waste management by making informed choices and knowing where to look for solutions. Our waste icon, dirtgirl continues the campaign to make resource recovery our aim with her colourful and engaging style throughout the app.

The Clarence Valley Waste app is available for download on iOS and Android phones from the App Store and Google Play respectively by searching for Clarence Valley waste. Downloading is free.
