Trauma Informed Practice Professional Learning Program – Tasmania

Trauma Informed Practice Professional Learning Program – Tasmania

Introduction

Stage 2 (blended learning component) of the Trauma Informed Practice Professional Learning Program builds on the foundational online course which continues to be available in Canvas for all staff in Tasmanian Government schools. Stage 2 consists of six session topics that are available as face-to-face sessions around Tasmania and in virtual classrooms (online). The Program is underpinned by an existing ACF education program, Making Space for Learning which is a resource for schools to better understand, respond and meet the needs of children who have experienced trauma.

A Resource Guide for Stage 2 Trauma-Informed-Practice-in-Schools---Resource-Guide-for-live-workshops.pdf provides more information about the Program or if you have further questions please contact the Child and Youth Wellbeing Unit wellbeing.unit@decyp.tas.gov.au
