Prosple Super Fairs coming to New Zealand in 2021

We’re expanding our virtual Super Fairs to New Zealand, available to ITPs (polytechnics) and universities.

With the exciting addition of Super Fairs to the Prosple repertoire, we thought bringing them to Aotearoa was a no-brainer.

What’s a Super Fair?

Prosple Super Fairs let ITPs and universities seamlessly host their own instances of a single, synchronised virtual fair in collaboration with one another, each from their very own Prosple career directory. We then allow you to invite your employer partners to establish booths at your fair. We will also invite top employer partners to the fairs too. Best of all, these fairs come at no cost to employers, ITPs, universities or students, provided at least two ITPs or universities partner to deliver the event. We’re particularly interested in helping polytechnics collaborate on Super Fairs in 2021 to help bring even more opportunities into the spotlight.

But if you’d rather go it alone, we’ve still got you covered. Solo Super Fairs let you build your own customisable fair, with a base fee per booth plus optional extras, like video editing and larger room sizes.

Here are the 2021 New Zealand Super Fair dates:

Why should I get involved?

Recent circumstances haven’t made physical events easy, so we devised an alternative and got moving. Since then, education providers have benefited from hosting virtual events through us, attracting and retaining the right audiences throughout 2020. You can check out exactly who we’ve worked with here

With a Prosple Super Fair, universities, polytechnics and professional associations can run world-class virtual career fairs with little to no effort.

To top it off, you also get your own career directory in your branding, accessible through your current site infrastructure.

A Prosple career directory is one of the best ways to improve employment outcomes for your students, featuring regularly updated graduate jobs and internships, employer reviews written by current grads on the job, study options, alumni profiles and more. We think these are ideal for any polytechnic, technology institute or university in New Zealand.

How do Prosple Super Fairs work?

Once we’ve set up your career directory, we’ll provide you with a virtual career fair landing page featuring employer booths that students can click on, taking them into a Zoom call with representatives from that employer.

Up to 100 students can join each booth, with employer representatives selecting and answering questions from the live chat.

What am I responsible for?

You’ll need to figure out the date, name and branding of the fair, promote it to your students, and invite any employers you’d like to be there. We’ll deliver the technology, be the central point of contact for hosts, manage your content and provide technical support. We also strongly encourage you to collaborate with other polytechnics or universities to deliver the best possible outcome for students.

How can I get involved?

If you’re already a client, just let your account manager know you’re interested in co-hosting or solo hosting a Super Fair and they’ll get you set up.

If you’re not already part of the Prosple ecosystem, feel free to contact us and our team will get in touch to set up a career directory. Express your interest now!

I represent a graduate employer

Why should I get involved?

There’s never been a better time to use virtual events for graduate recruitment. Of the 52 virtual events we powered in 2020, we managed to get 763 unique visitors per event. With this powerful new collaboration tool, we think we can do even better.

As a graduate employer, Super Fairs give you unprecedented exposure to high quality candidates despite volatile global circumstances.

How do Prosple Super Fairs work?

You’ll be given a virtual ‘booth’, capped at 100 students, who ask written questions to one or two of your representatives in the live chat. It’s basically a large Zoom call, but you’ll be the only ones with unmuted mics.

For students who can’t make it, each session is recorded, and can be edited into bite-sized pieces for use on social platforms or as evergreen content. There’s also built-in live transcription, which all participants have access to during and after the session.

What am I responsible for?

You’ll need to attend your video booth for the duration of the fair and engage with your audience via presentation or live Q&A. That’s it!

How can I get involved?

You can either register your interest in a Super Fair using the Prosple industry events calendar, or get invited by an education provider hosting the event. If you’re not sure where to start though, feel free to get in touch with us, and we’ll help find some events that suit you.

We can’t wait to hear from you!

Let us know if you’d like to get involved in hosting or attending a New Zealand Super Fair in 2021. Express your interest now!
