Barriers and facilitators to evidence-based chronic lower limb wound management in general practice.

Dear GP, Practice Nurse, Practice Manager and General Practice based Colleagues,

This research aims to explore the barriers and facilitators to chronic lower limb wound care for GP practice staff, and patients in the New England region.

We invite you to complete this online questionnaire, which will take approximately 10 minutes. Some of the questions are about yourself, some are about the practice where you work, and your healthcare team.

Your responses will enhance our knowledge of your experiences in treating patients with chronic lower limb wounds. We will use the information from the questionnaire to create an education module for GPs and practice nurses around chronic wound management skills. The information will also be used to develop a further research project on chronic wound management in general practice.

This questionnaire is about the management of chronic lower limb wounds (which will be referred to throughout as "chronic wounds"). We are considering any chronic wounds that are commonly seen in general practice such as arterial wounds, venous wounds, mixed wounds, and diabetic foot ulcers.
The first set of questions relates to your own personal capacity to manage chronic wounds Section two relates to your general practice and its management of chronic wounds. Section three relates to other providers you involve in chronic wound management.
